Pottery Classes

Courses are 8 weeks long and meet once a week for 3 hours. For the beginner to the advanced, our classes are for all levels. Our faculty are accomplished ceramic artists who have a passion for sharing their knowledge and skills.

Students learn the basic techniques or continue to advance their skills in wheel throwing, hand building, trimming, and glazing.

The cost for adult classes is $440 for 8 weeks. This includes clay and glazes. Students provide their own tools, aprons and towels. Firing fees are invoiced on a monthly basis. The cost is 5 cents per cubic inch for each piece fired (covering both the bisque and glaze firing). Additional 4 hour practice sessions can be reserved by students at an additional cost.

Full payment is required at registration. There are no make-up classes. All participants must be at least 18 years of age.

Open registration will happen on Sunday, April 7 at 11AM.
We cannot take requests for classes prior to this start date and the link to register will only begin working on that day. As a courtesy to current students only, there is a short pre-registration period to register into their same class time so spaces are limited and registration fills up quickly. We continue to keep class size small: 8 people for hand building and 14 people for wheel.
